What is a Private Mobile Tented Safari:

Private mobile tented safaris should not be confused with Overland camping Safaris in Southern or East Africa as private mobile tented safaris are purely tailor-made safari trips, conducted in open 4x4 game-viewing vehicles with not more than eight (8) clients together. These safaris are led by qualified professional Safari Guides who guide your adventure into these wild remote pristine wilderness areas, by open 4x4 vehicles and on bush walks, where the expert guides will share their skills in the bush and their knowledge of African culture and folklore. In the evenings, admire the bright stars of the southern hemisphere with a glass of wine or a beer in your hand as you relax around the campfire and listen to the sounds of the African wilderness.

These camps are situated in wild remote areas to give you an in-depth, breathtaking opportunity to explore the incredible diversity of wildlife, interact and learn about African culture and traditions, and experience authentic wild bush landscapes with vast populations of wild animals, insects and teeming birdlife. Game drives, guided bush walks with trackers or Bushmen, and a sunset river cruise are among the activities to be enjoyed on our mobile tented safaris.

Excluded: Sunset cruise at Victoria falls, Crocodile farm tour, all tourist visas, airport departure taxes, Scenic Flight of the Angels tour over the Victoria falls by helicopter/fixed wing plane, white-water rafting on the Zambezi gorge rapids, personal bar bills/imported liquor or wines, canoeing safaris on Zambezi River, bunji jumping -110 metre bridge jump, Gift/curio shopping at local markets, elephant back safaris, staff & guides gratuity/tips.

Tips: Mobile tented Safari trips are strictly camping in each national park campsite and all areas visited are wild… all tents are dismantled after each stay before proceeding to the next camp site … there is a dedicated 4x4 utility vehicle which carries all gear, camping equipment and food including fresh vegetables, drinks, wines, etc. Tents will be set up on the site by the Camp Crew before guests arrive each day.
