What is a Private Mobile Tented Safari in Africa:
The oldest and best way to see Africa is on a camping safari - away from the well-trodden tourist routes. Mobile private tented camping safaris should not be confused with Overland truck journeys in southern Africa. Our mobile tented safaris are private, tailor-made journeys, conducted in special 4x4 game-viewing vehicles with big glassed windows and not more than eight (8) clients altogether. Qualified professional Safari Guides (not driver guides) lead the mobile tented safaris and adventure with you into genuine wilderness areas, where they share their knowledge of the African bush. At night, admire the bright stars of the southern hemisphere with a glass of wine or a beer in your hand as you relax and listen to the sounds of the real African wilderness around the campfire.
The under-canvas safari experience brings you closer to nature. On your journey you will have the opportunity to Interact with the traditional African people and their culture. Guided walks with Bushman tracker guides and trips in a makolo (dugout canoe) on the Okavango swamps are also available.

Tips: Mobile tented Safaris are strictly camping using basic facilities at each national park campsite. All areas visited are wild environments containing untamed animals - unlike a Zoo - and it is vital that guests follow safety instructions at all times. Campsites are serviced, and tents are erected and dismantled for you by camp crew. One utility 4x4 vehicle carries all the equipment and provisions.
