East Africa Safari Legendary 2006

Our recent East Africa safari Circuit (February-June 2006) has just been completed and was an enormous success for all participants.

Visiting Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru, Masai mara in Kenya and the famous Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Zanzibar and the vast territory of Selous National Park indeed brought unforgettable safari memories to our clients.

“East Africa is not only about wildlife and the wildebeest migration but the true heart of African history as you share the Maasai traditions and culture of other tribes in the region while on safari”.
So says Marilyn Johnson of California USA who has just completed the East Africa safari experience with safari guide Obert Lusinga June 2006.

Afrika Zambezi Safaris thanks everyone for their support and we look forward to seeing you on safari trips with you soon.

It has been a great privilege to share our African continent with you.

Expo Diary

May 2006: Indaba Travel Show, Durban, South Africa.

Afrika Zambezi Safaris were there, and we extend a great thanks to all of the wonderful people we met during the show - colleagues, travel agents, partners in travel, and to all the wonderful camp/lodge operators who host our clients on safari.

It was really a fantastic educational experience to learn about your products and we valued the opportunity to get to know you - especially those whom we do not get to meet so often.

We will spread the word out there to market your camps/lodges.

See you next year!

To overseas Travel Agents and Tour Operators:

What a great opportunity to interact each other at the Indaba travel show this year.

We hope we were able to exchange as much information as necessary to convince you to host your African safari clients with us.
To those of you who did not make it to Indaba 2006: we look forward to meeting and hosting you at the next Indaba travel expo in Durban, in May 2007.

Once again we applaud you for supporting us in our efforts to market this wonderful destination, Africa.  The industry could not be any better without you. Keep your spirits moving towards Africa!

East Africa Safari Extended Itinerary

Selous Private Luxury tented camp
Great thanks to Selous Safari Company with their beautiful private tented camps in the southern part of Tanzania’s Selous national park, for providing us an opportunity to use and explore their camps with our clients while on safari.

This is an exciting new safari area for Afrika Zambezi Safaris and we have already designed a new itinerary for our clients who wish to explore more of Tanzania rather than the Serengeti or Ngorongoro crater option.
Visit our website www.afrikazambezisafaris.com for enquiries for this itinerary.

Selous National Park Tanzania

Selous national Park in Southern Tanzania is the largest wildlife reserve in Africa, with a great diversity of landscape and amazing wildlife to view at leisure on Safari.
This is where the rare endangered African Painted Wild Dogs can be found.

Breeding herds of elephants, herds of African buffalo, lions, and leopard can be viewed either on game drive vehicles or sunset cruise.

Selous Safari Company runs two exquisite camps which provide the best accommodation and comfort while on safari.

THE MASAI LADY’S TRADITIONAL DRESS CODE!

Great thanks are also passed to Elewana camps/lodges of Africa and Sanctuary camps/ lodges of Southern & East Africa who have also invited us to use their camps for our spectacular East Africa Safari Circuit.

Zambia Safari Circuit
BOTSWANA, NAMIBIA, SOUTH & ZIMBABWE CIRCUIT

A whole pride of thanks goes to Mr. Fabrizio Lopez of Wilderness Safaris who, as an old friend, has provided outstanding help and support to Afrika Zambezi Safaris. Meeting again at Indaba this year 2006 reinforced our very good working relationship which dates back many years to when we were young safari guides and we worked in their camps, spending most of our time hosting guests.

Wilderness Safaris had a great influence on us and are the reason we are where we are today. We are happy to continue working together 10 years later. Once again we applaud you guys and thanks for being supportive.

Attending the Botswana Road show recently in July 2006 at Moyo’s in New Town on the outskirts of Johannesburg gave us a great insight of what is happening in the Botswana safari segment, and what new products are currently available on the market.

Kruger national park in South Africa is promoting a newly opened camp by Wilderness Safaris called Pafuri camp. We hope to include these new destinations on our itinerary for Southern Africa safari clients wishing to explore more of South Africa.

Namibia and Zimbabwe remain the most highly-rated safari destinations that our clients enjoyed on safari recently.

Zimbabwe’s Hwange national park is still an incredible wildlife experience and we certainly felt in the heart of Africa as we explored the of Makolo plains. Without a doubt some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa and the service in all camps was simply outstanding.

Currently probably the best-value destination is Zimbabwe. What the news media tells you about Zimbabwe is not what one would experience on safari as a guest. Zimbabwe has the most highly qualified walking guides in Africa. So join us on the Southern Africa Safari Circuit and experience what Zimbabwe can offer you.

We extend our thanks to Kim and Moses of Robin Pope Safaris in Zambia. Zambia has been on top of our list of enquiries and we are excited about this new addition to our safari destination itinerary.

Working with you guys has been great fun. We are still finalising a few marketing issues with our USA sales agent, who is keen to promote Zambia as the best destination for USA market.

Once again we say thank you, and we support your efforts to promote your wonderful product.

SAFARI RATES & TARIFF 2006-2007

Due to the currency inflation in each country where we conduct our safari trips, our tariff and safari rates will be changed as from August 2006 and we will notify all stakeholders, partners in travel, tour operators and travel agents locally and Overseas.

We encourage you all to keep on visiting our website for any changes and other information which might be of any help when planning safari itinerary for your clients to Africa.
