Day 1 Ruaha National Park
On your arrival at Nairobi/Dare salaam Airport, you are met and greeted by our Tour guide from Afrika Zambezi Safaris. A charter flight takes you to Jongomero camp in Ruaha national Park. Ruaha national park is characterized by its unique rugged Rift Valley landscape surrounded with mountains, open vast plains, rivers and is considered one of Tanzania's greatest wildlife parks with fewer tourists than Serengeti. At Jongomero Camp you will enjoy exhilarating 4x4 game drives as your safari guides share their wildlife experience and search for prides of lions, leopard and cheetah. Ruaha is the only park in Tanzania where species such as the African (Painted) wild dog, sable and roan antelopes can be seen. Dinner meals and overnight at Jongomero Camp (LDBB)
Day 2 Ruaha National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives are spent in Ruaha national park with your guides exploring the beautiful landscapes and tracking all rare species of animals. Touch, feel and learn about the bush as your guides impart the information to you. Dinner and overnight at Jongomero Camp (LDBB)
Day 3 Ruaha National Park
Full day game drive activities with a packed lunch to explore the secrets of the wild Ruaha national park. Overnight Jongomero Camp (LDBB)
Day 4 Swahili Coast, Tanzania
After the morning game drives and hot breakfast, en-route drive or charter flight to the tropical beach resort of Ras Kutani Camp. Here you will find a secluded crescent of white sandy beach flanked by a freshwater lagoon and coastal forest. Ras Kutani Camp offers large, comfortable bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and dressing area and large front verandas complete with Swahili daybeds and a hammock for lounging with a book. Day 5 Swahili Coast, Tanzania
Full day at leisure to enjoy this beach paradise. Optional activities such as massage, body boarding, surfing, snorkeling, exploration of the fresh water lagoon by kayak, horse riding, nature walks and fishing are available and can be arranged. Dinner and overnight at Ras Kutani Camp (LDBB)
Day 6 Swahili Coast, Tanzania

Day 7 Lake Manyara national park
Today we take a charter flight to the land of the famous tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara national park where you explore the wilderness with full day game drives, guided walks and bird watching trips on lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Lodge (LDBB)
Day 8 Lake Manyara national park
Full day game drive with packed lunch. Picnic at a spectacular spot somewhere in the bush. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu lodge (LDBB)
Day 9 Lake Manyara national park
After morning game drives, you are briefed before a mid morning visit to a nearby Masai village and school, then return to the lodge for lunch and siesta. Masai cultural tours inspire every foreign visitor as they learn about the lifestyle, ancient traditions and cultures of African people. Game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Lodge. (LDBB)
Day 10 Ngorongoro Conservancy Area
After breakfast today, we depart lake Manyara for an en-route game drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, with our packed picnic basket for the day. The Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy is the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Game drives en route are conducted with our expert safari guides. On arrival in the afternoon, rest and soak up the atmosphere of this world famous lodge, the sounds of the wild and the magnificent views over the spectacular crater. Day 11 Ngorongoro Crater- Conservancy Area
After breakfast, a game drive trip descending to the crater floor where you will witness this renowned wildlife paradise with its Big Five animals. Return to the lodge for lunch on the viewing deck. It's your siesta afternoon with optional activities such as visiting the Masai Crafts market. All meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge/Crater Lodge (LDBB)
Day 12 Ngorongoro Crater-Conservancy Area
After morning game drives, you are briefed before a mid morning visit to a Masai village and school, then return to the lodge for lunch and siesta. The Masai cultural tours give a fascinating insight into the unique lifestyle of these people who live in harmony with the wildlife of the crater. Game drive in the afternoon. This evening is a farewell dinner and gift exchanging with your tour guide from Afrika Zambezi Safaris and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa/Crater Lodge (LDBB)
Day 13 Dare-salaam/Kilimanjaro-Nairobi Departures:
After breakfast, charter flight to Dar es Salaam/Kilimanjaro-Nairobi for your connecting flight back home. Afrika Zambezi Safaris tour Guide will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you with luggage at check-in point.

Safari Accommodation Overview:

Jongomero Camp, Ruaha national park, Tanzania
Accommodation at Jongomero comprises eight large and well-appointed tented suites, under enormous thatched roofs that also encompass a spacious private veranda. The dining and living areas offer great vantage points to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush that surround the Camp, as does the natural rock pool, perfect for a dip after the heat of a game drive.

Ras Kutani Camp, Swahili Coast, Tanzania

Safari Accommodation on our East Africa safaris are in comfortable lodges near on inside game reserves and national parks. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, hot & cold showers. The lodges/camps are thatched or tented with panoramic views from either the rooms or verandas to give the guest a feel of being close to the bush and viewing the animals from their rooms together with security, comfort and coolness. Delicious meals are prepared in the safari kitchens with fresh produce brought from nearby farms.

Tanzania: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
The open 4x4 Game drive vehicles are land-rovers, land-cruisers or jeeps which have been specially modified to provide good viewing while coping with any bush terrain, taking the traveler into real wildlife territories. Each vehicle carries a good stock of refreshing ice cold drinks, beer, wine and packed picnics. Guests enjoy a scenic sunset drink stop on the evening game drives. Short guided walks or long walking safari trips are always led by an experienced armed safari guide, who will give you the opportunity to "touch & feel the wild". Each lodge/camp visited can be described as "the real touch of Africa".
